Sydenham Residence
MORE PHOTOS COMING SOON. STAY TUNED!
The Sydenham residence is a gorgeous federation home, in Sydney's inner-city - renovated for a new family with baby & dog.
The home was well kept but tiered, with rotting federation floorboards exposed & a 20 year old kitchen. The client wanted to completely transform the home, by reworking the kitchen area, to allow for more storage & gain access to the external laundry. The home also featured extensive rising damp issues, which we worked to solve.
The result - to enhance the gorgeous federation features and high ceiling, we selected a dark new pre-finished timber floor, which next to the white painted walls gives the home more height. Both bedrooms gained new built-in wardrobes and new furniture. The client wanted an eclectic feel, so we combined federation with mid-century modern and Persian rugs to do just that.
The newly transformed kitchen was completely re-shuffled and the laundry re-vamped to create a clean continuation from within.
To create a work-from home friendly space - we utilised the existing dead space down the side of this home & built a new undercover office & gym area.
