Miranda EMF Gym: A Blend of Luxury and Energy

We’re thrilled to share a groundbreaking project for us at Blank Creatives – our first venture into gym interior design, marking the debut of EMF’s stunning gym and day spa in Miranda Sydney. We had the exciting challenge of bringing the much-loved Queensland brand to Sydney, infusing it with a touch of cool luxury and modern vibes.

A New Frontier: Designing for Gym and Spa

The Miranda EMF interior design Gym project was a series of firsts for us, and we couldn’t have been more excited. We took inspiration from existing EMF locations, integrating elements of blacks, timber, and concrete tones, and introducing metal accents and textured paint finishes to create a sophisticated and contemporary environment.

The Challenge: Harmonising High-Energy and Relaxation

One of the most exhilarating aspects of this project was the challenge of designing spaces that would cater to both high-energy workouts and serene relaxation. Our goal was to create a dynamic atmosphere for the gym that would seamlessly transition into a tranquil retreat in the spa, sauna, salt rooms, and yoga spaces.

We focused on maintaining a high-energy vibe in the gym area, with bold design elements that energised and motivated. In contrast, the spa area was designed to offer a calming sanctuary, ensuring that members could unwind and rejuvenate after their workouts. The interplay between these spaces was key, and we worked diligently to ensure a smooth and enjoyable transition from one to the other.

It was a blast making this vision come to life, and we’re incredibly proud of the result. The Miranda EMF Gym is not just a place to work out; it’s an experience that balances intensity with relaxation, modernity with comfort.
