The Marrickville apartment interior design project saw Blank Creatives taking a red-brick apartment and turning it into a fresh and modern space tailored for a trendy inner-city couple.
The original apartment had an enclosed kitchen and a lacklustre bathroom. To optimise the limited space of the combined kitchen, dining, and living area, we reconfigured the layout, opening up the kitchen and creating a more functional dining space.
We created a bespoke kitchen design, with every detail thought of, from an integrated dishwasher & fridge, to a hidden laundry & pull-out pantry. Hiding appliances within the kitchen helped to create the illusion of space.
For the bathroom interior design, our goal was to create a show-stopping experience, and we feel that we delivered. We selected a stunning pink onyx marble, and worked with it’s gorgeous translucent quality, by placing the marble on the ceilings and incorporating back lighting,=. The result was a soothing and relaxing ambiance. It’s the perfect sanctuary to unwind after a long day’s work!
