Let’s start with the space, which was produced in collaboration with interior designer Blank Creatives. It’s a millennial dream with pink leather booths and curtains, neon signs and terrazzo tables.
Our obsession with millenial pink + most amazing interior designers by Blank Creatives
This Vietnamese restaurant is decked out with timber tables and stools, a long turquoise-coloured booth, pastel tiles and, of course, delicious-smelling wafts of authentic dishes. It’s big and open, and is the ultimate space for sophisticated dining with a laid-back atmosphere, just what the Sunshine Coast ‘hospitality doctor’ ordered
Local studio Blank Creatives were responsible for the fit-out, and we’ve got one word for you: clean.
The modish fit out is a far cry from the typical, casual Sydney-Vietnamese style that Yen for Viet is an example of. Interior-design firm Blank Creatives has mixed herringbone, brass and mid-century furniture, in keeping with Fountain Street’s concrete semi-industrial space.
Shortlisted for Best Cafe Design 2017
