This stunning 54m², two-bedroom apartment was a rewarding challenge to renovate. Untouched for over 40 years, it featured an original melamine kitchen, a dated 1980s bathroom, and even some impressive mould.

Our first step was to completely reimagine the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. By re-orientating the kitchen, we opened up the floor plan and created room for a practical dining area. In the living room, we designed bespoke joinery to maximise storage and make the most of every square metre.

The bathroom, once clunky and cramped, was re-worked to form a functional, calming retreat. To achieve the client’s vision of a relaxing ambience, we introduced an illuminated pink onyx ceiling — a striking feature that adds a spa-like glow, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

To brighten the apartment, we installed light oak pre-finished timber flooring and repainted throughout in crisp white. Both bedrooms were upgraded with new built-in wardrobes, bringing modern functionality to this refreshed Sydney home.
